PMC52 Posted January 20, 2008 Report Share Posted January 20, 2008 I have a D2 with Pioneer rear view camera installed in a 2006 Jetta TDI automatic. When I turn the key to accessories and move between Park and Reverse the camera activates flawlessly. As soon as I start the engine, if I do not shift into reverse immediatly (in the first second or two), the camera does not activate. As soon as I put the car into another gear, the camera will go off, but if I put the car back into reverse it no longer activate automatically. The unit was professionnaly installed All wiring was checked over and over. The unit was sent back to Pioneer, and they claim everything within spec. Any ideas what else to look for?
