TeckBargins Posted January 29, 2008 Report Share Posted January 29, 2008 I just picked up sir-pnr1 for my avic-d3 but at some random times there is static coming through but there are no trees or clouds around with clear view of the sky. I used factory ford sirius antenna. All you had to do is remove a cap and it fits. The only thing it for some reason with clear view of the sky/no trees it will go have some static but then go away and sounds clear. Like when I listen to howard stern its not constant static but only when someone talks. Strangest thing I swear, even tried switching out cable, checked connections, removed bluetooth unit.
