CLOUSEAU
You will need an HD Radio Tuner module, however I believe the Pioneer unit has limmited display funtions if your using this with a N3. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... /GEX-P10HD
acr
I think he means he has an SD television tuner, and is wondering what he can do once all channels are broadcast in HD in 2009. I don't know if there is an HDTV tuner out.
CLOUSEAU
Oh Well... I thought he meant HD radio since he didn't say H/DTV, but then again I missed the "over-the-air" (OTA) and the end of his post. I haven't heard rummors or seen anything yet from Pioneer as far as a digital tuner unit for the AVIC's go, but it would be cool if they could make it as a built in feature in the future, being that alot of laptops are already coming out with HDTV tuners built in. brinegars
Im just surprised there isnt any hdtv antennas for mobile video out there right now, ive searched and searched. I hope pioneer comes out with one soon.
brinegars
A little more searching and ive found out that all hdtv antennas are just like regular antennas, no difference, the hd is a sales pitch. So what will be needed is some sort of hd tuner to hook the antenna I already have up to it.
Coniac
HD in your car.. I don't know how well that would work. I have tried tv tuners in the past and singnals are never any good and im in chicago. As for HD signals in the car I can barely pick up local stations in my house on my TV! I have yet to try a HD tuner in my laptop. I am curious to see how well that works.
