bmoon1492
I installed a new D3, Sirius, BTB200 yesterday in my Ford Explorer/ Everything works fine except for the BTB200. The mic does not seem to be picking up a signal. I've already checked all of the connections, reset the box, and switched phones to test it out - nothing... Any suggestions as to how I can test the mic? I'm wondering if a mini plug headset would work?
slicknick
I am not sure but when I got mine installed it did the same thing, the shop had some wires mixed up. I could hear them, but could not talk to them.
inferno999
Check the IP-bus connections. Make sure blue is plugged into blue, and black into black.
Guest astrobill
Did you nick the microphone wire? Are you being careful to use only the mic that came with the Pioneer? Were you careful to mount the CDBTB200 as far as you can from other electronics in your dash, including the AVIC? My installer made ALL of these mistakes. I had to order a new microphone from Pioneer, have another isntaller relocate the BTB200 in my dash, and then be careful to not nick the mic wire!
