CatchMeIfYouCan631
I found this site via google, glad its here... ive been a Pioneer user for years and with my new AVIC-Z3 i needed verification on which wires. ANYWAYS.. I just put an Avic-Z3 in my new truck... along with bluetooth. Like some here, i had issues, and was upset, i REALLY wanted bluetooth.. Well someone said you need a 6 digita passcode, so i tried a 6 digit one, yeah still no luck.. so THEN i tried "000000" 6 zeros... and sure enough THAT actually worked. Works nicely. I havnt installed my mic yet (i FORGOT to, i'll do it later its a piece of cake)... but its great. WHat a nice feature. So if your having trouble, try setting yer Avic unit to do 6 zeros as the passkey. Btw, i have a Verizon 700WX a friend of myne (thealliance43) tried the 1111 default code and i told him to try the 000000 code on the Z3. neither worked on the Z, but it paired and connected to my post-updated F700BT within seconds.
