ws6playa Posted February 24, 2008 Report Share Posted February 24, 2008 let me start with what i did ...any one know what i did wrong please repost THANKS i own a Z2 soldered the yellow with black strip wire to the light green wire then grounded the green wire.. started up my screen and had to warnings ..one that the parking brake isent safley connected and the other navi warning.. i put in the image for the z2 but it stated that "this is a older version, you have the new version uploaded" so i tryed it while i starting to drive and it said" strickly prohibitted" then i went ahead and hit the recessed button and nothing happened.... i also noticed before i grounded it and try using the screen half the option didnt work then i grounded it and it opened up all the options... inferno999 Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 Well, the obvious answer is it's not bypassed correctly. Can you take a few pictures of how you have it wired and upload? What update are you using? Have you tried the "freezing" update (which also includes the bypass enable update)? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
ws6playa Posted February 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 27, 2008 i got that z2 update thats you have to burn the image...when i went to install it..i pressed MAP and it said old update inserted, new update already installed... i soldered the yellow wire wit black strip wit the green one and soldered it into the main ground of the wiring harness i get both warning when i start it also.. and it doesnt want to play VCD?
