whtcrxghst
Looks pretty much like a kenwood D3. The question becomes do you want garmins 6 mil points of interest and 2 pre-outs or Pioneers 12 mil with 3 preouts and an ipod (so you can leave the nav disk in.) And who knows what Pioneer will come out this year to improve on even that
skipa4
I'm leaning toward the 5120 because it does RDS. The extra POIs are nice but will be out of date on a year anyway. I think the 5120 doesn't need a nav DVD in the slot so should elininate disk swapping.
Guest astrobill
I've got a D3 and wish I'd waited...there are WAY too many problems with it, especially all the Bluetooth and voice dialing problems referenced in this forum. The only reason I chose the D3 was that it can match the factory illumination with the LEDs behind the buttons, but the Kenwood does that as well. Given all the problems with Pioneer, and their very bad support, I'd strongly consider going with the Kenwood. In fact, when I saw it in the Crutchfield catalog last week, I starting thinking about switching to the Kenwood (not from Cruthfield, obviously...cheaper online).
