installermarc
OK. Here's the problem. Had a customer come in today with a very interesting problem. He drives a 2007 Dakota as an escort for heavy equiptment haulers. His problem is that acording to DOT regs, they have to avoid all metro areas and he says that sometimes they can go as much as 200 miles out of there way to stay in regs for wight and length of vehicle. Here's the question- will the N4 allow alternate routs that avoid major areas? My answer is no as I have not seen anything in my D3 that is what he wants. And it won't hurt my feelings if the answer really is no. If it you can do this, HOW?! I figured some of the more knowledgable guys here will know (like Misfit or HiFiSi). JLeach12
if this helps i know in route options you can select avoid highways and tolls andavoid ferrys and all types of other things. maybe you can set up routes for it to avoid certain roads and get it to route around roads he cannot use. installermarc
Yeah, I've seen those options, but unfortunately they didn't route like he needs (we tried a demo in my Bullitt) and I figured I'd ask. Any more suggestions?
JLeach12
if he drives many of the same routes he can set waypoints and set it up through that way
