kap0w
Ok - just installed my D2 last night. I've got the parking brake wire grounded and I also added a pin to the empty hole in the harness and grounded that. It shows as parking brake always on in the setup and it lets me input addresses while moving, but it gives me the error about the parking brake being hooked up wrong every time I turn it on - what is the "right" way to do this and still be able to use Nav all the time? I'd really rather not add a switch or something - I just want it to happen. Do I have to do something complicated? I know for the Z1 Ducattiboy sells something, but what do you use for the D2? brachoza
that does show up everytime when you turn the car on
kap0w
Ugh... that's too bad - it's not going to kill me, but the touch screen isn't super responsive and it's a PITA to have to press ok, wait a minute, then press ok again EVERY time. Nobody has found a way to make the Nav useful and not have to do this? I suppose it's just as hard (and less wiring) than having some sort of switch hooked up, so I'm not going to complain that much, but I'm pretty surprised nobody knows a way around this. dpdurst
I put the pin in there as well, found that it came out when I got it all put together, redid it and all is fine and no more warnings, all functions now work when driving
