Eggsack
I just got my N1 back form Pioneer and want to upgrade it to the new 70 disks and get the bypass done, anyone know of a place that does it? Also, if I wanted to sell it, what would be a fair price as Pioneer also replaced my faceplate too.
Fracken21
If your going to sell it then just sell it the way it is. Let the guy buying it worry about if he wants to upgrade it and stuff. B/c i would guess a fair price for a orinigal n1 w/out any modifications done would be around 500, 450 if you were desperate. if you spend 100 to get it bypassed, then you would want around 600. Why would someone buy a used n1 for 600 when they can buy a refurbed (w/ factory warranty) n3 for 700 from ebay. Even though you upgraded the n1 and did the bypass it's still just an n1. Meaning all it is is an N1 with upgraded mapping, no added features like an n3(ipod,xm,sirius). So just to help you out, if I were you I would probably attempt to sell it for 500 to a stranger 400 to a friend. Hope this helps put it into perspective. You can always just list it on ebay with a reserve now before modding anything and see what happens.
