countdown
If I choose not to use the cigarette lighter where can I splice this wire? Also, what wattage should I use? Thanks.
countdown
Another option: Can I instead get a DVD drive intended for a PC? I'm trying to save as much space as possible as my glove compartment is very small.
jimmy303
First of all, car dvd players have gotten cheap. Farenheit has a 1/2 din unit for around $150. You could also use a PS2, the newer slim one. A 400 watt inverter should cover a home dvd, PS2, XBox, etc....

The dvd player will be mounted elsewhere, probably the glove box.
jimmy303
You could put the DVD player or PS2 anywhere except the front bumper.....
