Used the Metra wire harness adapter (which had an orange wire for dimmer/illumination). Noticed that at night, with the truck headlights on, there is no illumination of the front panel buttons, unless the DNX7100 is on. Obviously makes it difficult to find the "on" button in the dark. The buttons light up once the unit is turned on. Is this by design, perhaps a defect, or something I did wrong in installation? Thanks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
