I have a D3 recently installed in an 06 xterra. Half of the time when I start up my truck, normally in the mornings only, the nav system starts up by saying checking disc, than it tells me to eject the disc and insert the proper disc. Problem is that I have 2 east coast nav discs and both of them have the same problem. The music will play, but the screen is stuck on the error message. after an hour or so of starting up the truck and turning it off will it go back to the regular start up screen. I have tried resetting it and it doesnt help. Its almost like the truck needs to be warmed up for a little bit for it to work correctly. Tweeter installed it.

Please help.

Also, I cant seem to get the sub to work, even though the sub output is on and the rear speakers are set to full with a subwoofer in the pre out???

That sounds like it might work, I have only had the nav for a week or two and the last time it worked it had me marked in the wrong area of the numbered map...Unfortunately I dont have the west coast disc, which I probably need to get into the system to change over to the east coast side.
