misterbeetz Posted September 20, 2008 Report Share Posted September 20, 2008 In my situation, the navi was simply not working too well without the VSS connected. Without the VSS connected, the navi was confusing which streets I was turning onto. The frequency at which the position updates itself is now higher as well with VSS. (I have a Z3 and live in the NNJ area btw). Also according to the Z3 manual, a connection to the reverse wire is also used to help determine position in navigation but I wouldn't think that it is nearly as important as VSS. - misterbeetz Quote Link to post Share on other sites
