question re: bypass and BTB200 and PAC SWI-PS

Recommended Posts

Received my N4 yesterday and am doing the install this weekend.

Can someone confirm that moving the yellow/black (guide on) wire to the upper (second from left) slot as shown in the picture will NOT impact the BTB muting the radio functionality nor impact the steering wheel functionality.

As an aside, a year ago I did a D3 install on an Aviator, did the bypass with the mute wire (worked great) but never could get the SWI to work.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know the pin asignments for the 20pin connector that the RCA outlets and wired remote plug into on a N2?

This connector did not come with my unit and I'm trying to hook up the steering wheel controler and would like to also do the bypass.

Didn't want to spend the $70 that pioneer wants for the "system extension cable" if I'm not using the RCA connectors anyway.

Thanks, MX5er
