jeannate
Hello, I have an N2 head unit installed with an N3 brain...the system is functional but I need someone to help me with a few things. 1) My navigation arrow (that indicates the direction of my car) never faces the right direction. The brain is installed in the correct position and I have even tried to move it to make the arrow face the right direction, but it keeps winding up off track. Could this be because my Speed Sensor wire and Reverse Gear wire are not attached? I haven't been able to find someone who can connect them. 2) The whole point of me upgrading to an N3 brain (with the CNDV-70MT software) was for the advanced iPod functionality - but I still don't have it. Is there anyone who can help me fix these problems? Or does anyone know of an installer in or near Miami who could help me out? PLEASE!?!

jeannate
Ok. I will check it out. I am pretty sure the arrows are pointing correctly, but it's installed at an angle (under my dashboard. I may need to put it under my seat so that it's flat. What is the bt accessory?
jeannate
Sorry about the other posts. I'm really new to this and don't know the correct procedure. It won't happen again.... All your help is appreciated!
Julius
You need to connect the VSS wire for accuracy of your position on the screen.
jsdeprey
I doubt its the VSS wire, I had never hooked mine up and it never pointed the wrong way. Sounds like the gyro in the brain is confused. I would just lay in on the passenger side on the car and test it that way or something, I have mine under the passenger seat (nice and flat) and its never had issues.
