97 z me go Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 I have a 06 sierra with facrtory xm/omstar/bose. I hooked up the d3 and am not getting any sound out of it at all. I used a Peripheral gmco to hook the deck up. What am i missing here? seems everything else works but theres no sound and the sound menu everything is set at ZERO. Any help would be appreciated. lancerhcm Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 I used to work for gmc, those trucks are very tricky because they either have onstar and no amp or onstar and amp. Maybe the moudle you bought dosent work or maybe you bought the wrong one. I do know that there might be a diffrent onstar moudle. Cause I had a customer with a denali with a eclipse unit and i saw a onstar moudle so it can work with aftermarket unit. and it also had another moudle for the amp.
