mk2tmr2
I am strongly considering the D3 for my car. Quick question regarding the aux A/V input. Is it possible to view the video from the auxiliary A/V input while listening to a separate audio source? I want to pair this with an HKS CAMP2 system (http://www.hksusa.com/info/?id=3474) on my supercharged Miata and I'd like the ability to view the video coming from the CAMP2 unit while listening to the radio or iPod audio. Thanks. -SD
HiFiSi
Nope. It's not dual zone capable. What you're watching is what you're listening to.
mk2tmr2
Darn. That's what I was afraid of. I'll have to figure out a way to rig the iPod into the Audio in for aux A/V - while the CAMP2 uses the Video in. Thanks. -SD
installermarc
Simple- Buy an iPod composite a/v cable (about $50) and use the audio only. The use the video for what you want. You would need to control the iPod directly (not from the D3) and it would not get a charge, but it would do what you want.
