bjl95mustang
Ok, now I feel stupid. I was playing with my n1 and I heeked up the - and + backwards to the unit. It buzzed and then some white smoke came out of the rear of the unit on the right side. Who can repair the units? What can I check to see whats fried?
bjl95mustang
UPDATE- I mailed my unit to pioneer for the flex cable fix. They said the main board looked messed up. So they said they might beable to fix it for $200 if not it could cost $550 if the board had to be replaced. If i did not want it repaired then it would be $70 for the check. I said ok to the check and the $200 for the flat rate fix. They said they would call back if there was any problems. I saw a charge on my card for $200. And it came yesterday. It was packed in a nice big box very well padded. The invoice said they replaced the main board and checked the unit and fixed the tab that tells the unit when the screen is out. They even packed the face plate in it's nice own box. Hooked it up and everything work fine. It was a $200 stupid mistake but i'm glad it was somewhat fixable.
