Could my BTB-200 be damaged?

Recommended Posts

This is confusing so stay with me ;-)

I have connected the D3 to Sirius SIR-PNR2 to BTB-200 and both remain grayed out on D3 unit. I am sure it is connected properly; I even tried switching around the cables and units to no avail. I checked fuses and grounds, no problems. If I connect the SIR-PNR2 alone it works sound and all, now if I connect the BTB-200 alone I get nothing it is grayed out. Once I PROPERLY connect the BTB and SIR together everything is grayed out. BUT! Here is the tricky part if I improperly connect the SIR and BTB they light up as if they work but no sound from either.

WON’T WORK:

(SIR) black/out ==TO== blue/in (BTB) black/out ==TO==blue/in (HU)

Or

(BTB) black/out ==TO== blue/in (SIR) black/out ==TO==blue/in (HU)

___________________________________________________________

LIGHTS UP W/ NO SOUND:

(BTB) black/OUT ==TO== blue/OUT (SIR) black/IN==TO==blue/IN (HU)

NOTICE HOW IT’S (OUT to OUT and IN to IN)

I have been trying for weeks now to wire and rewire the units together, am I missing a part that would allow the BTB & SIR to work together or could my BTB be bad. Any possible fix???
