edrock200 Posted May 3, 2008 Report Share Posted May 3, 2008 Just curious if anyone else has had problems with the motorized screen not coming down? I really wasn't too concerned at first as I never use the dvd drive (mainly listen to XM and iPod) but I now want to do the z3 upgrade. Before I yank the unit and send it in for warranty I thought I'd ask if anyone else has any suggestions for troubleshooting. The screen will occassionally work, but for the most part pushing eject yields nothing. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
garrettoomey Posted May 4, 2008 Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 Make sure the screen is not binding on the dash or adapter plate. Many installation require that the frame around the z to be filed slightly to allow it to open. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
