jaki30
Has anyone installed the D1 in a 2005 Magnum? I can't seem to find any info on whether it will fit or not. Thanks.
installermarc
It will with the correct dash kit (Metra 99-6510) and the factory navigation dash bezel (around $100 from your dealer). And do yourself a favor and get the dodge radio harness that has the nav connections (also around $100).

Do I need the Metra dash kit? What exactly does it do? Is it the bezel? Is it possible to just hook up power, memory power and speaker wires?
Dane186
No, you car uses canbus power, you need the right harness to get it to work. Ypu still need the metra kit to hold the radio in and still.
eGo
If you haven't already found out, you need a C2R-CHY from PAC. I just installed mine today and got it all working great in my 07 Magnum SXT. My only problem is that even though I soldered the MUTE wire and the P Brake Wire to a ground, the bypass is still not working.. Any ideas anybody? TIA! eGo
installermarc
Did you relocate the mute wire? If so, check the connection in the plug. If not, do it.
