executioner
Will the G.SP Guidance speaker output on the back of the n2 work by itself? The manual says to be used with a multi channel processor but I dont have that. I have trouble hearing the voice through my speakers. I thought if I could plug a small speaker into this and mount it in the head liner right above my head it would help.
jimmy303
Try turning up the volume on the guide voice. It's in the nav menu under settings, hardware volume, voice volume. I've never had a problem getting enough volume out of that, even to the point of being obnoxious.
executioner
It is turned all the way up. I can hear it but it gets no where near obnoxious. The ol ladys onstar in the Monte carlo will damn near scare you out of the car. I would just prefer it to be louder, to me it is marginal.
jhoglesr
Do you have it set to mute the music during voice nav. ?

jhoglesr
Are you sitting in the front seat ? Just kidding. Like Jimmy I have my nav volume on a low setting and can hear it fine. I do ride with my windows up and have a muffler on my car.You would think that if your units music is loud then the nav voice should be too. Can't answer the aux speaker question . Good luck. Oh just remembered the speaker options for nav voice. LEFT/RIGHT or BOTH. Did you check that? I use both speakers , (L+R) on the GUIDE VOICE button.
jimmy303
Are you using amplifiers in your system or running the avic directly to speakers? Also, what kind of car?
executioner
1992 Chevrolet Pick Up, The main speakers are run directly from the avic and there are 2 subs that run off of separate amps. Basically I am wanting to know if there is a powered signal coming from the plug on the back of the n2 or does this need a powered speaker.
