karmad
Hello everyone, I recently got my car back from being painted, and one of the first thing i noticed was that when my unit turned on it would not accept my touch, so i played around trying to get it to work and noticed whenever i would push the volume or any of the button the touch would respond once after each time a button was pushed, i then reset unit and got touch to work for a bit once again, but every time i turn the car off and start again i get the same problem. I have re-calibrated the unit with the pen and got it to work for awhile once again but then once i turn off and on the problem persist, now i was wondering if i gave the unit the lock-up update will this resolve this issue and would heat or cold hurt the unit to this extent? could someone plz help or send me in some direction thnx
djmixmac
There is a flat ribbon cable that runs from the screen to the main unit. Its pretty fragile so I would carefully check the connection on that cable.
inferno999
Do you lose any other settings when you power down? Could be that the power is connected wrong and it's "forgetting" your calibration settings. Just a thought.
