hobbyshop
So I had my VSS hooked up, and I'm finding in the vehicle dynamics page.. for the forward acceleration, I can get significantly more than 0.5Gs.. whereas normally, it's less. I can't imagine hooking up some wires would give me added HP to allow for that... which is more accurate? before or after VSS? Also wondering if the D3 has automatic volume adjustment for when you're going highway speeds or stopped. I was hoping the VSS would allow the unit to know to increase the volume at faster speeds.. so i wouldn't have to keep increasing on the highway, and then decreasing when i get off. HiFiSi
It's more accurate with the VSS hooked up. Otherwise it gets it's info on your speed from the GPS signal, which isn't quite as accurate. And no, there's no speed sensitive volume.
hobbyshop
i'm finding there's a pretty significant delay for the acceleration though.. i guess a lag isn't a big deal though.. so i will need to increase and decrease volume as i go then i guess! why is it there isn't a speed dependant volume level? awesome!! thanks for the reply! it's nice to have the D3 fully set up now though!
