Lu Scola Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 I was wondering if there are any single din flip out T.V (any brand) that makes a HU that has Ipod video? It must be able to be able to be controlled from the Head unit itself. I know you can use A/V inputs on pretty much any unit but you have to use the ipod itself to navigate thru playlists...ect. it doesnt matter if the unit has nav either. If you have read my escalde dillema, I have a Z1 installed and wanted to put my D3 where the in dash cd changer was, and have 2 headunits, but it may not fit due to whats behind the lower dash part. So I may have to just use a flip out instead. i heard Valor does but not positive until I get a hold of my distributer tommorrow. Thanks to those who reply. Sincerely, LU Here is pics of the before and after of the lower dash console I fabricated the face kit with ABS sheet. If the cutting works and it will fit I will post the completed job. Before picture: http://blingee.com The good thing is the wood frame that was atteched to the lower console was able to come off, so if I sell my truck, all the stock equipment such as the changer, storage pocket, and clock can all be put back in without leaving a double din gap. http://blingee.com After picture, I didnt cut the double din opening until we cut the palstic behind the bezel, until we know exactly how the screen will be mounted. http://blingee.com Also this has nothing to do with this post and should be in classified, but if anyone need REAL Zenon HID kits ...not the cheap plug in bulbs. I have 50 kits I need to get rid of. I have for every make and model vehicle. I have them in various bulb tempatures too. I did the foglights with the same kit a few days later http://blingee.com These are 12K Zenons I put in just to take a pic of the difference between bulb temps, the higher the temp, the blue-er the light.
