ogiebb Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 Hi Guys, im kinda new to the forums , ive tried searching first before posting but cant find any answers. i just received my D3 2 days ago and was trying to pair it up with my iphone, the phone can detect the d3 and pair up but the D3 cant pair up with my iphone..any help will be greatly appreciated.also if this has been asked before pls show me the way..thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
skicrave Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 What do you mean phone can detect the D3 and pair up, but the D3 can't detect the phone? Pairing is a process that is only done one time, and it doesn't matter which end it's initiated from (either the phone or the D3). Once the two devices are paired, they will automatically establish a connection anytime bluetooth is turned on in each one and they are within range. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
ogiebb Posted May 18, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 the Iphone can detect the Pioneer BT but the D3 cannot locate the phone but that was awhile ago..now i was able to have them paired together but no Audio now when i make or receive calls.. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
medmondson Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 Don't know if you ever sorted this out, but I just had the D3 installed in my car last weekend, and found it was necessary to not only pair, but also to register to iphone to get a consistent, reliable connection each time I entered the vehicle. Bad_Robot56 Posted May 30, 2008 Report Share Posted May 30, 2008 Not wanting to high jack your thread, but I just got a new HTC Touch Cruise phone and I'm having the same trouble, the phone finds the BT find but the BT give me a connection error, My 5 year old razor connects every time. would like some help on this.
