westiewill Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 Ok, im having this issue where when i connect my ipod to the avic z3 the on screen ipod icon doesnt light up i cant click on it.. instead it detects a usb device in the EXT... I DONT want that, it connects but it doesnt use the ipod feature on the Z3 how do i make this work?? anyone please help me thanks!! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

whtcrxghst Posted May 19, 2008 Report Share Posted May 19, 2008 You bought the wrong adaptor. Take it back and tell them you need the CDIB100 or CDIB100ii. It will not be a USB cable, it will have the ipod dock connector on the end Quote Link to post Share on other sites
