deltablues
I need some help-guidedance concerning the Pioneer camera I just purchased. I installed my AVIC-D3 last month and everything is working fine (Bluetooth and IPod). I just purchased a new camera and the salesperson lead me to believe that the reverse gear function was an easy installation process. I connected the positive to the ACC lead on the back of the head unit and grounded it to truck body (2008 Tacoma). The camera works fine when I go through the map options and engage it but I still want the reverse gear option to work. Where do I connect the reverse gear wire that is part of the plug on the head unit? Thanks ahead of time for any help.
HiFiSi
Run it to the back of the car and tap it into the wire going to one of your reverse bulbs.

Stevenredx
For future reference i thought i would help out other 05+ Taco owners. You can tap the reverse wire behind the drivers side kick panel. Its the red and white wire coming out of the second from the bottom plug.
