deltablues
I need some help concerning the Pioneer camera I just bought. I hooked the positive wire from the camera power box to the ACC lead wire and I grounded it to the truck body. It works fine through the navigation options menu but I don't have a clue about where to hookup the reverse gear signal wire (part of the head unit plug) so that it will automatically engage when the truck is in reverse. I'd like to keep the camera but if I can't get the reverse feature to work and I have to go through the menu each time I'd rather go with a cheaper camera Any help will be greatly appreciated. deltablues
It's a 2008 double-cab PreRunner. Thanks again for any advice-help.
Julius
Here ya go.I could only find the Tocama wiring, didn't say anything about a PreRunner but they should be the same wire colors.Put a meter on the wire and put it in reverse if you get 10-12 volts, thats it.
