smbstyle
Hey all, I purchased a vehicle recently already with the AVIC D1 installed, with the Sirius satellite radio tuner. I have the Ipod plug routed to the center console, and whenever I plug the Ipod into that port, the Ipod screen lights up, and after about a few seconds it says "charging", so the Ipod is getting power, but whenever I go to the main audio/source menu where it shows all of the sources, the AUX "button" never becomes raised, and I cannot select it to use the Ipod; only the Sirius and FM buttons are raised, meaning they are the only possible selections for sources. Also, my second issue is I noticed that I am getting hardly ANY FM radio reception, it is mainly static. Is there anything I can do as far as the AVIC to make sure the connections are right for the FM radio and to get a better signal without static?
whtcrxghst
Are you using the Pioneer ipod adaptor? If so, it would show up as ext-1, not aux For FM, did your vehicle require an antenna adaptor? Or does it have a powered antenna that should have been hooked up to the deck?
