tritron
I have west dvd that does not work any more. Is there any way to copy the bad dvd to another one. Any software tools that I can use? Is my only option to buy another west dvd.
Julius
It depends on what you mean by bad dvd.If its a scratch then maybe you can copy it.If its a corrupt dvd then no.Can you explain in greater detail about the type of problem you're having?

Julius
Why is your dvd so worn?
knight20
Why is your dvd so worn? That's one of the downsides of having a D3 without an ipod. Constantly changing out the Nav with a CD or DVD to play on the unit will scratch up any disc. When you get a new West Disc, I would suggest making a copy image onto your HD and a copy to use to avoid this situation in the future.
Julius
I can see your point, especially if you're not careful how you lay the disk once you eject it. I have a cd and a separate dvd slot on my unit so I don't have that issue.
