jwsievers
I have a 2006 Trailblazer LT and I am curious if the AVIC-Z1 will fit in it. Also does the navigation require nav disks or is it all stored on the harddrive?
Emay
no nav discs required, Nav runs via the HDD. As to the trail blazer fit, I don't know that answer, but I bet you can find that out on the crutchfield web site.

jwsievers
do you have any pictures? Also any suggestions when installing to the trailblazer? What fitment kit did you use?
cntrylvr79
To make the z1 fit in an 05 You have to cut out some plastic support for the back of the stock radio. As for the kit you can get a metra 99-3301 and just use the side brackets. I've done this several times in Trailblazers up to 05. From what I've seen of the 06 I don't see it bing much different. keithss
or a metra 99-2003 Keith
cntrylvr79
I've tried the 2003 kit, it never worked properly for me, but then again that was in older trailblazers. Maybe the new one is different.
