skierjmh
I'm about to get one of these for my Forester but I'm struggling with whether or not to get one for my Sequoia. We've recently spent most of the summers looking at the backcountry 4x4 roads and has anyone seen how good the maps are for these? If not I'm leaning towards a Garmin 478... -j
zasy99
Well, I just got my Z1 install done on the weekend and to my dismay my entire neighborhood doesn't exist according to the maps in the Z1. Very annoying when trying to set the 'home' position, I have to set my home now as a point on a main road about 1/2 a mile away from my real house. We just today picked up a new 2006 Nissan Murano with navigation and it shows all the streets, even the portable GPS from Garmin we got about 3 months ago has all our neighborhood streets in it. We have permanent paved roads here and the community has existed since 2001. What has me wondering, if my neighborhood isn't on here what else is missing? I am actually going to call Pioneer on this one, kind of unacceptable if you ask me for a 'top of the line' navigation system.
skierjmh
Interesting... I think the Garmin might be the way to go especially if I can load Topo maps. Sorry to hear about you not existing in the world according to Pioneer.
