Question about the powercabel(install avic d3)

Recommended Posts

Yellow wire to a constant power source.

Red wire to a switched power source.

Black wire to a ground.

All of those wires should be contained in your car's factory radio wiring harness. Go to an auto parts store and buy the correct wiring adapter for your car. They are color coded, and you just splice all the wires together than plug it in. And read the manual.

And I'm not trying to be a dick or anything... but if you don't even know how or where to connect a power wire, should you really be doing the install yourself in the first place?

agreed. if anything, buy a wiring harness and connect your wires to that so you dont screw up the wires in the car. itll tell you on the harness' package what each color is and your installation manual says it too. just match em up you cant possibly go wrong that way
