mavrickma
I know that the F90BT is the only unit with 3D landmarks, but does the F900BT do 3D maping, like is in JasonH's video review? Or does it only have 2D mode?
supernet
the 900 has 3d http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... Navigation
rdkl
It does 3d and its fairly adjustable. You can change the tilt up to an overhead kind of view or down to a driver's point of view.
Newbie
All of the new avic units have 3d view. Only the top unit has 3D LANDMARKS. Hope this helps..
bcgeorge
According to the Pioneer website, the 900 has 3D landmarks as well. The only difference I'm seeing (according to the website) is the 4V preout and supplied Ipod cable.
psklenar
... The only difference I'm seeing (according to the website) is the 4V preout and supplied Ipod cable. Don't forget Two Year Warranty for the F90BT vs One Year Warranty for the F900BT. pat----
discobro
My D3 was stolen and I am replacing with a 900BT since AJRS (replacement service) isn't a Premier dealer and can't get me the 90BT. I am hooking the pre-outs into an amp/sub, am I missing out on anything by not having the 4V pre-outs? Any audio geeks want to drop some knowledge?
jktjazz
I remember reading about AVIC nav issue: it doesn't tell you which side of the road your destination is. I'm not sure if it's an issue in D3 or F-series (or other?). Does it happen in the F-series too? Thanks.
skicrave
Yes, it's still a problem on the F-Series.
jktjazz
skicrave: thanks for the reply. If your destination is on the left hand side, does it tell you to make a u-turn? (maybe it depends on whether median exists? Thanks!
