jjq787
Hey guys, I just got my D2, and I already want to bypass the "safety features". I have already read about grounding the parking brake wire and the unused pin in the harness. I am wondering why this unused pin even exists? Does anyone know? Just curious. Also, is there any risk of damaging the unit when the bypass is used? Thanks for the help!
dpdurst
From what I understand the unused pin is for diagnostics on the bench. I have had mine setup with PB grounded and the unused pin connected to grnd from the time I installed it several months ago and never have a problem.

dpdurst
If your not using the blue ant a wire, just use a small jewelers scredriver, there is a small tab you need to lift up and then pull the wire out, put it in the blank spot and then ground it with the parking brake wire.
