IvanRaide
Anyone running a beta of firmware 2.0 (perferably beta 7) and know if any phonebook transfers to the Avic work now? There was talk that some small level of vcard Bluetooth transfer was added, but I've not seen further mention of it so am a little doubtful? Would be nice to get a yes/no either way? (I haven't take the beta plunge yet myself)
torgerson
oohhh, I'd love to see this work as well. My jailbroke crappy 1.4 version does not Even worse when my buddy with a Nextel phone can do it!
334lif3
That's strange. My Garmin Nuvi will pull the phonebook from my iPhone via BT...
torgerson
how did u get it to work? I know on blackberry there was a context menu to send items via Bluetooth. I did not know you could on the iPhone!! Are you using 1.4?
334lif3
I'm using the latest publicly available firmware on the iPhone and the Nuvi just pairs up with the iPhone and when I go in to the address book, it "just works". Nothing special. Thats why I'm surprised to hear it doesn't work on the D3.
torgerson
Thanks for the response. Turns out others are getting it working with different adapters but it may be an issue with the pioneer bt adapter on the d3. Sucks.
VBLUE42
The D3 adapter can't pull the info just receive it from a phone that will send it which the iPhone presently can't do.
IvanRaide
Now that the 3G is out and some people are mentioning they have them, can anyone test the original question. Besides the 'transfer' button on the D3 which I'm pretty sure will NOT work, is there any new options in contacts for pushing via bluetooth? (waiting for the dev-team to release the new Pwnage)
