brisk
Hello, Just wondering is MSN Direct really worth it? I saw the website and MSN direct does offer lots of things but only weather, gas, movies, and traffic on the F-Series. Do you think that a new firmware upgrade from Pioneer might include the extras that MSN Direct offers for others? Such as news, events, and others? Or would that require a hardwire change... Thanks. hchavez
Hopefully a software upgrade fixes it. For now I would not pay for the service.
shodancst
You do get 3 months to try it out free. And after I signed up for that, MSN offered another 6 months of the service for $9.95 + tax. So for about $1.15 per month average, I figured it was worth a try. I've used it a few time with decent results, even in areas that I didn't think would have usable data or signal strength. It does take a few minutes for the info to update after you first power up the system.

skicrave
No, no no. You have to get the 900 or 90 to get MSN Direct.
bdawon19
it seems that it may be a option if i buy it,because it is grayed out. so, if i can't get it y would they put it on there grayed out in the bottom left corner?
skicrave
I think that's actually Pioneer's crappy way of making it unavailable. They should have just completely removed it from the UI (but they do a lot of not very bright things, so it's not a huge surprise).
