KryptonKalEl Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 I just got my Pioneer - Avic-n4 installed today (bypassed as well) by a auto custom shop. Everything works fine except for this one annoying thing, while I'm navigating thru the menu, in the black background I see these horizontal grey lines. If I press the volume button and switch the unit off (LCD still is powered on, just no video), I can see all the grey horizontal lines across the whole screen. When I pull up the Navigation Maps or play a DVD movie - those grey lines are gone and the video is fine. I called Pioneer twice and they told me "that's normal, it's just the background". For some reason I don't want to believe them. It sounds like I got the same person twice, maybe. Does anyone know if this is supposed to be normal or not? Also can I put a custom background on the AVIC-N4? Thanks..... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
