simplicityinsound Posted July 22, 2008 Report Share Posted July 22, 2008 just hooked up an N4, with the ipod cable, the customer has a i guess the second 2nd gen video ipod? the black with chrome back...he was listening to it on headphones before. anyway, recognizes the ipod, can control it but no audio. usually with the 100 its due mostly to the cables backwards, but obviously with the N4, you cant plug in the cable backwards, one side is the ipod connector the ohter side only goes into one slot in the brain of the N4. any ideas? is there a setting on the ipod that can change or mute the main output while listening to it via headphones? thanks!
