hdd Posted July 22, 2008 Report Share Posted July 22, 2008 I installed dnx7120 in 2001 Camry. The install was very easy and the GPS is great. I was wondering if anybody had similar issues. 1. The screen sticks out ¼ to ½ inch. I am thinking of drilling holes in the factory brackets and try to push the unit back. Has anybody done that and is it possible to push it back? 2. The cooling fan in the back is loud and one can easily hear it if car is off and volume is low. Has anybody seen similar issue with the DNX system? Is it possible to do something about the noise? bitman Posted August 18, 2008 Report Share Posted August 18, 2008 i did the same with the dnx5220 in the rav 4. i made new holes in the factory brackets, about 10 mm further from the factory ones. now the headunit doesn't sticks out any more. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
