cypher Posted August 11, 2008 Report Share Posted August 11, 2008 Ok so I have had an avic n1 for some time now and just got an ipod dock cable for it. I have gotten everything connected right but when I hook up my ipod the n1 does not read that anything has been connected. The ipod charges from the cable but that's it...any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The N-1 does not use a cable, it uses an interface module, the CD-IB100/II, (which is audio only) not just a simple cable. If you are using a simple generic (such as Peripheral's PXP01 http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/pr ... oductID=52 )audio/video/power cable for your i-Pod, you will NOT get any kind of control/info from your unit.
