romney
AVIC-D3, CD-BTB200 and the T-Mobile Dash bluetooth Phonebook transfer, VoiceCommand, BT Audio When I first bought my T-Mobile Dash, it was a great update to my old windows smartphone. Syncing and pushing with Outlook, windows media player, and bluetooth intergration. Um, er, scratch the record, hold the presses. Bluetooth integration with the AVIC-D3? Are you serious? I'm not going to go into the multiple arguementative threads where Pioneer has completely dropped the ball when it came to smartphones and bluetooth. I finally have figured out a work around to get the Phonebook, Voice Command and BT audio to a working point. DISCLAIMER: I do not work for JETware, Microsoft, HTC or Pioneer. NOTE: These work arounds will not work for smartphones unless you download the following software - JETware mobile. There is a 30 day trial, after that then you have to buy it. IMPORTANT: There are no JETware keygens, torrents, nothing, nitchs, nada. You have to buy the software. Bluetooth - On or Off Turning bluetooth on or off when you change the Bluetooth or JETware values can make a huge difference. HINT: You can press "3" to toggle BT on or off in the Comm Manager menu WM6.1 Bluetooth On (Comm Manager) WM6.1 Bluetooth Off (Comm Manager) JETware Bluetooth On JETware Bluetooth Off JETware Advanced Options Your JETware advanced options MUST look like this: Contact Transfer On the AVIC-D3, navigate to the BT-Tel Screen. Press the hard menu button on the left. Then press the soft key "function menu". Touch "Phonebook transfer" and you will see the following screen: Unfortunately, we cannot upload our entire phonebook to the CD-BTB200. You MUST beam each contact entry individually. On your T-Mobile Dash, select the contact, Press Menu, then select "Send Contact" Select "Beam" Wait a couple of seconds and you will see the following screen on the T-Mobile Dash. You can then "beam" other contacts using the same instructions. When you're done uploading contacts you will see the following screen. Note that the "Phonebook Transfer" function is greyed out. Exit out of the AVIC-D3 function screen. Your contacts are now in your AVIC's phonebook. Toggle the bluetooth on/off settings on the phone by using the Comm Manager or JETware main application screen as mentioned above. VoiceCommand / AKA Voice Dialing Make sure that your JETware advanced setting for Voice Command is checked. When you press the "Voice" button on the AVIC-D3 the cell phone will beep, you can speak the normal VC clauses, but you have to hear your cell phone respond. Make sure to re-press the AVIC's voice button to end the sequence. It's a work around, but it just works. IMPORTANT: If you use a bluetooth headset and NOT the AVIC-D3. it is very important to disable the "Voice Dialing" advanced option for the playback bluetooth audio to be correctly routed to the headset. Bluetooth Audio Nobody has figured a work around for bluetooth audio until now. Once the AVIC-D3 is booted, you have to deselect and reselect the BT Wireless Stereo in the Comm Manager menu to make this work. Navigate to the "Pioneer BT unit2" in the Bluetooth devices menu: Press "edit" Toggle the "wireless stereo" check box off. Press "done". Wait for the rotating "pie" to finish. Toggle the "wireless stereo" check box on. Wait for the rotating "pie" to finish. Press "done" You now have access to the BT-Audio capabilities of the Dash. You will need to start the music on your phone. After that you can control it with the AVIC-D3. Ironically, to use the BT audio functionality, you'll have to do this ever time you turn on your car. Great work Pioneer! Viel Spaß!
