AVIC F900 - Europe maps

Recommended Posts

Sure, I guess. If you can find a European model, boot it to windows, copy the map/nav database to an SD card, then boot your US model to windows and overwrite the US map/nav data with the European data. You will also need to copy over the voice/TTS data as well. Not saying that it will work, but as of right now, it's the only place to get the map data. You MIGHT be able to find the map data from iGo, the company that provided the maps/nav portion of the system, but there's no way I can be sure if it will be formatted/compatible with the unit or not.

Also, you won't be able to use the radio because of frequency differences or the DVD drive because of it's region coding.
