jeep06
i have my ACC wire spliced to my cig. lighter that turns on with the car because the ACC wire from my d2 will not work with the wiring harness. so now everytime i turn on the a/c fan switch(powers up a/c) the navigation powers off. (i believe both the cig. lighter and a/c both connect into the same harness but i am not sure on that did i make a bad connection or something else? thanks
cntrylvr79
Sounds like it might be a bad connection. Have you tried plugging something into the cig plug and seeing if that turns off when you turn on the ac? If it doesn't then you definately have a bad connection. cntrylvr79
Yeah, to be honest your best bet is going to be break down and pick up the chrysler databus interface. http://peripheralelectronics.com/web/onstar.asp It's the chyah05 on that page. It also gives you the vss wire too. Got to use one of these the other day in a new dodge makes life a lot easier. As for your reverse wire. Here go Reverse Lights WHITE/LT.GREEN (+) IPM, CONN2 PIN 2 The IPM (Integrated Power Module) is on the driver fender, behind the battery. Anything else ya need?
