lemonhead
Do you have the parking brake wire installed?
knecoli22
I had the exact same problem. I had connected the black ground and yellow/black mute wires (after moving the yellow/black wire for the bypass) to the ground supplied in the vehicle wiring harness rather than doing the chassis ground. I moved the two wires to a ground on the chassis and voila, it started working perfect (or as perfect as a F90BT can from Pioneer).
CatchMeIfYouCan631
Those features are grayed out because they're not meant to be accessible without the parking brake up. You have to either hook it up to the parking brake, where they will only be available when the brake is up, or you must do the bypass which will enable them 24/7. gclancer
I figured it out. It was the damn e-brake ground wire. My friend who helped me install this navi has a D3. He didn't think the e-brake ground wire was neccessary but it take away navi & system setting when not installed. Navi & System setting is working now whenever my car is in park but it disable again when the car is in motion!
