citadel
I just hooked up my AVIC D1 in a toyota landcrusier 1997. It powers up but when I insert the nav disk, it does read it. Say something like disk read error...?
jhoglesr
Did you open the unit all the way and use the lower slot ? Try the other nav disc to make sure its not the disc ?
cntrylvr79
YEs make sure you hold the eject button for at least 1 second and load the dvd disc into the lower slot.

Two_Cold
I really do have this problem I just bought a D1 installed it and it tells me to insert the correct disc. I installed it in the lower DVD slot, tried east and west discs. I have version 1.2. I did the reset. Any suggestions?
DUrdaneta
I have the same exact problem. Seems like an on-going problem with these and the NAV disks not loading properly.
tillithz
are these backups ?
jdmeyes
I have this same problem too. I sent it to Pioneer TWICE to fix the problem and it's happening again.
tillithz
would probably ask pioneer whats up if your sending it back that many times.. dont you think?
