junito1224 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Share Posted September 3, 2008 I was just looking at the specs of the z3 and z2. The z2 specs says it has dual zone and the Z3 says it has trizone. I have the z2 with an upgraded z3 hard drive I was wondering if this upgrade (dualzone, trizone) is a software upgrade or if it was a Hardware upgrade? Any idea Guys much appreciate it. I understand that the Z2 does not have trizone but it does have Dual zone. Now the Z3 states on the manual that it has Trizone capabilities. My question is: Are these capabilities brought on by the firmware update or is it a difference in the hardware (Z2- Z3). What I really want to know is if updating my z2 into a z3 with the update from this site will give me this capability or is there a slight difference between the Hardware itself???
