ikon66 Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 Hi again (UK user) had my unit a few days now and still happy with the purchase generally, not sure if it's as good as my last x3 but generally very good. This is a question about volume, i have the bose sound system fitted to TTS and to have a decent volume, not ear bleeding , it has to be up to around 50. Is this about right or for other users. Also, prolly for uk users, there are 2 nav voices, does one of them give you extra detail on a route, ie more warnings, more information as in street names etc? To answer your question, i most of the time listen to a volume above 45 (55 is good for me). However, i was surprised too i couldn't go above 62 as a max level. About the navigation, if you select any voice with 'TTS' in it (not related to the car TTS = Text To Speech). Then it will read you the street name. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
